Premier Foodservice Group, established in 1998 by industry veterans Dan Schorr & Warren Goldsmith, is a manufacturer's rep firm in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry covering MAFSI territories 11 and 12 (including Georgia, Alabama & the Florida Panhandle, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina).
With employees officing throughout its 5-state territory in the southeast, Premier promotes its full lineup of equipment, furniture, and supplies to restaurants & bars, hotels, schools & universities, municipalities, convenience stores, as well as healthcare dining and all other facilities that utilize commercial foodservice equipment to conduct their operations. Any operator who serves food or beverages to the public, or to large groups in the private sector, will find Premier to be a dependable partner in streamlining their equipment selection and purchasing, educating staff on proper equipment use and care, and providing after-sale support when service issues arise.
Our History
The Premier team is made up of industry specialists with decades of experience in design, service, and operations.
In 2016, the company began investing in end user specialists to provide personalized service to customers in key market segments. Since then, there has also been a focus on welcoming new talent into the industry, to take advantage of the opportunity to work with a team of industry experts formed over the past 25 years. In 2020, the company established a leadership team comprised of owners and management staff to drive sales growth and spearhead internal initiatives, leveraging increased organizational structure provided by the "Entrepreneurial Operating System."
Also in 2020, the company invested in a showroom northeast of Atlanta, GA at their headquarters, called the Design & Training Center. This expanded facility provides a dedicated space for prospective customers to get their hands on fully functional cooking equipment, mix and match tabletop samples to find their perfect design aesthetic, and receive chef-led in-depth training experiences highlighting product features and benefits, all prior to making a purchase decision. Premier will work with a preferred supplier, or provide referrals to exclusive distributors from their territory network.
